Regensburg-Pécs Tandem 2.
“My dear Bavarian friend,
I am very happy that you visited my muchloved city.”
That’s how the fictional letter starts which Vilmos Zsolnay, the former owner of the famous porcelain manufactory, has written to the students from Regensburg. In the letter was a riddle: the students had to search for 4 places in the centre of Pécs which are in connection with Zsolnay. They had to find out a code, and open with it a lock on the famous lockwall of Pécs.
Some of the exercise were even a bit difficult for the students of Pécs, who helped to the German students. But the clever people find also more helpers, like a nice German man, who lives in Hungary. And the first pair set even a record! I was waiting for the students in a confectionery, where they could taste a Hungarian cake called “francia krémes” (French cream bun).
Here are some pictures about this evening made by Gábor Lévai:
And here you can read the letter of Zsolnay in German language: Zsolnay
