I am glad that I can sum up of the last 4 weeks: lot of work, lot of creative ideas and lesson plans, nice people, motivated students, plenty of new experencies, coffee and airconditioner in the hot wheather. This was for me the Hungarian Language and Culture Summer University of the year 2015 in Pécs.
I am happy that I could teach in 3 groups in this year – and had there great students. I feel pity for it that in one group I could only teach 2 weeks long, but even so it was a pleasure! Thank you for your work in the group, Rebecca, Carolin and Enya!
I got a lot of new inspirations from the group on level B2 as I have to collect for them always new and new extra curriculum. Hereby I found lot of new videos, invented new textes which I can use also later in my lessons. Furthermore I could test the workbooklet I have writen (with the title: Miről van szó?) in a group. It was good to see how the exercises function in a group. Thnak you for your teamwork Gisela, Tabea, Maria, Maren, Asha and Sebastian!
At last but not least I would like to thank the work to my group on level A1-2. In this group I was a “form master” and I think at the end of the course they could build a really good community. I tried to make them the language learning very enjoyable but they also learned a lot! We went through 7 chapters of the course book MagyarOK 1. – starting with how to introduce yourself and reaching the not so easy grammar of definitive verbconjugation. I think their vocabulary developed very well and we tried to use those new words also active and their communication skills get better – also because they got new possbilities through learning new grammar structures. Thank you for your work Sara, Beverly, Aleksandra, Adam, Bishoy, Karim, Piotr, Islam!
On the summer university it is always very important to work efficiently together with my teacher colleagues. I think this was done very well this year – at least this is my opinion. Thank you Edina, Betti, Vanda, Kata, Réka, Zsuzsa és Zsolt!
This post became like an Oscar Award ceremony speech. (-: But it was a hard job as a teacher and it could be done well only so that everybody has done her/his best.
At the end some nice pictures about the for weeks:
